19 of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been won on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev secured his initial title for nearly 30 months with a win over Corentin Moutet in the competition championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has endured a difficult season, achieving just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a meltdown at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his serving in particular - resulted in him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-time trainer Cervara.
Presently working with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently improved in the last few weeks - culminating in a tightly fought three-set victory over challenger Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's initial title following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court since spring of that year.
Success also signifies he has won twenty-one titles at twenty-one various tournaments.
"For the first time I am participating in a tournament with my children at once, so to win a championship is really nice," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the maiden victory I got when my child her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
His retrieving play style and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led some to question if his skill to compete at the elite level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has altered his approach in the last few weeks, striving to approach the net and compete positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
The champion recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the concluding five games to take the lead.
The pair swapped breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, bidding for his first ATP Tour title, took control to force a decider.
The opponent defended four initial opportunities in a tight deciding set before the champion broke to that score to close out the victory.
Suitably, Medvedev secured victory with a rally at the net, with the Frenchman failing to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
